This was a recommended spot for me as a person visiting for the first time. I didn't know what to expect. It's a neighborhood restaurant with a small dining area. You order at the counter. The staff was busy, one woman at the counter taking orders but she was timely.
I initially wanted to try the fried chicken but it only came in wings. I decided on their spicy chicken platter which was grilled chicken over rice with a sauce and two sides. I selected cabbage and Mac and cheese for my sides. I also got their pina colada tea. The tea came first which was very good. Didn't know what to expect but I enjoyed it. The food was awesome. I really enjoyed the spicy chicken, sauce was rich and flavorful. The Mac and cheese was homemade and a great blend of cheese and pasta. The cabbage was also really good. Overall, I enjoyed my meal.
I would return to this place based on the experience. I can't eat fish so that limits me but I have been told that the fish dishes are great. The service was good overall. -

My husband and I tried Taste This Baltimore for the first time a week ago and we weren't disappointed.
We both ordered the stuffed salmon platter. I got collard greens and Mac n cheese as my sides. Omg. Those greens were soooooo good. And for the price we definitely got a bang for our buck.
We'll definitely be back to try more options on the menu. -

Simply amazing. I have to pace myself now, because every time I ride past, I want to go in and get something since I've tried it. I stopped by as hunger struck midday on a Saturday. You only know the hype is real when you try it for yourself. I had heard many good things about this place but had never taken the time out to try it. Now I'm hooked!
I got a loaded baked potato. I can't recall what it's called on the menu but this item definitely stood out to me. It's stuffed with crab meat, salmon and shrimp. Heavenly!!! I want to try everything on the menu. My next visit, I am definitely getting a platter, but the baked potato was enough to keep me going back.
The service is excellent as well. The staff is friendly and professional. Bring yourself and your friends here for some good eats! -

Ordered delivery of grilled salmon platter with asparagus and mashed potato on side. I haven't had many soul food before and this is visually pleasing at first sight, nicely packed. Not a fan of the mustard-ish sauce on the fish but don't hate it either. The asparagus and patato r pretty good！Salmon can be a little overcooked based on personal preferences but again I don't really mind. Might try the baked potato or catfish next time！

I went here during the week on a day off. Ordered the turkey wings, yellow rice, yams and Mac and cheese. The wait time was a bit long. But, it was because they supposedly called our number and we didn't hear them. It was definitely worth the wait. The wings were tender and the sides were delish. Parking wasn't an issue since it was in the middle of the day. I'd definitely return.
